Why Choose This Program?

Discover Our Program in Detail, Level by Level

This level focuses on teaching the Arabic alphabet, recognizing the shape of each letter at the beginning, middle, and end of a word. It also includes short vowels (Harakat), then long vowels (Madd), and learning the correct pronunciation of each letter. Students practice pronouncing letters accurately and writing them in different positions. This level also introduces the articulation characteristics of each letter and its correct point of origin (Makharij), with a focus on distinguishing between letters that sound similar but differ in writing or articulation. Every lesson includes spelling practice.

Objectives:
By the end of this level, the student should be able to:

  • Memorize all Arabic letters from Alif to Yaa.
  • Master writing letters with correct vowel marks.
  • Distinguish between short vowels and long vowels, avoiding confusion (e.g., not mixing Fatha with Alif).
  • Read words using correct syllable segmentation based on vowels and Sukoon.
  • Differentiate between letters that are similar in sound or articulation.
  • Be capable of reading any Arabic word, regardless of its length or complexity.

This level introduces Arabic vocabulary and begins the formation of simple sentences. Students start memorizing words and constructing phrases while developing other skills like listening, comprehension, and reading. Vocabulary is supported by images and focuses on words relevant to the student’s daily life, making it easier to use them in simple, practical sentences.

Lessons are designed to integrate common vocabulary with images and include listening exercises (with audio tracks) followed by comprehension questions. This trains students to retain what they hear and link listening with understanding, helping to close the gap between hearing and comprehension—a challenge many learners face.

This level also includes oral expression, allowing students to begin expressing their emotions and ideas in simple, meaningful sentences.

Objectives:
This level is carefully designed to help students:

  • Memorize a good number of Arabic words, understand their meanings, and use them in meaningful sentences.
  • Express their thoughts in correct, useful sentences.
  • Read and form sentences accurately and meaningfully.
  • Understand texts and audio appropriate for this level, enabling participation in family or friendly conversations. The goal is to move from passive listening to confident interaction.

In this level, students study two complementary books:

Book One: Reading and Verbal/Written Expression
This book includes dialogues and texts suited to the level, combining listening and reading activities. The student develops multiple language skills:

  • Reading: Accurate reading practice with real-life applications of punctuation (commas, periods) and expressive styles like questions, exclamations, and prohibitions.
  • Oral Expression: Training students to express their thoughts naturally.
  • Conversation: Practicing direct dialogue with the teacher to apply vocabulary.
  • Listening Comprehension: Strengthening the connection between what the student hears and the meaning they form in their mind, gradually closing the gap between sound and understanding.

Book Two: Grammar
This book teaches foundational Arabic grammar appropriate for the level through practical application rather than theory. It includes demonstrative pronouns, question words, personal pronouns, sentence structure, and word types (noun, verb, particle).

The grammar book is synchronized with the reading and expression book. Grammar concepts taught are applied in expression exercises, and expression content includes grammatical patterns that are then formally explained.

This integration ensures consistency between grammar and expression lessons in both theory and practice.

This level builds on the foundation laid in Level Three, elevating the student’s linguistic competence through two integrated books:

  • Book of Reading and Expression (Oral and Written)
  • Advanced Grammar Basics

Reading and Expression (Oral and Written):
The content becomes deeper and more diverse with texts and dialogues aligned with the student’s growing language abilities. Skills are blended—reading, listening, and both forms of expression—to enhance comprehension, analysis, and articulation.

Includes:

  • Advanced Reading: Fluency, precise spelling, punctuation use, and understanding complex styles like conditional, restrictive, and advanced exclamatory forms.
  • Oral Expression: Students express ideas and opinions with broader vocabulary and more fluent structure.
  • Dialogue: Students engage in deeper conversations that enhance vocabulary use and skills like persuasion and clarification.
  • Listening: Exposure to longer and more complex texts to develop analysis and auditory comprehension.

Advanced Grammar Basics:
Grammar topics become wider and deeper, with a continued focus on real usage. Students solidify their grammatical understanding and apply it in various contexts, moving from comprehension to correct application.

This level marks a significant step forward, engaging students with more sophisticated texts and deeper linguistic expression. Two books are used:

  • Reading and Expression (Oral and Written)
  • Introduction to Grammar and Morphology

Reading and Expression:
This book offers carefully selected texts combining linguistic richness and cognitive value. Students develop analysis, critical thinking, and precise expression.

Key features:

  • Analytical Reading: Training in critical reading, extracting meaning, rhetorical styles, punctuation, and complex forms like praise, blame, compound conditions, and various types of vocatives.
  • Advanced Oral Expression: Students produce coherent oral speech, reflect their understanding of texts, and apply new vocabulary and structures.
  • Dialogue and Discussion: Engaging in argumentative dialogue and opinion exchange enhances reasoning and advanced communication.
  • Active Listening: Exposure to narrative, expository, and dialogical texts builds deep comprehension and stylistic awareness.

Introduction to Grammar and Morphology:
Students begin serious study of grammar with foundational principles such as:

  • Identifying nominal and verbal sentences and their components.
  • Recognizing basic case endings (i‘raab).
  • Distinguishing singular, dual, and plural forms.
  • Introduction to syntactic roles (subject, object, predicate, etc.).
  • Basic morphology: root patterns, basic verb conjugations.

The content is presented clearly and gradually, connected to practical usage in writing and expression—preparing students for Level Six, which offers more expansive studies in grammar and morphology.

This level marks a pivotal stage in the learner’s journey, as it consolidates the foundational language skills and introduces students to structured grammar and expressive techniques.
